- Local Storage: Your custom blocked keywords and extension settings (such as the enable/disable toggle) are saved locally on your device via Chrome's synchronized storage API.
3. Permissions Explained
The AIBlock extension requests the following permissions for specific, limited purposes:
storage: Required to save your keyword filter list and toggle settings so they persist between browsing sessions.contextMenus: Required to add a right-click menu option that lets you quickly block a keyword directly from the LinkedIn page.https://www.linkedin.com/*: Required so the extension's content script can read the text on your LinkedIn feed to determine if a post should be hidden based on your keywords.
